023. - Paknik
Category: Ant
Type: Insect/Earth
Height: 1.2 ft
Weight: 14.9 lbs
Abilities: Snack Pack, Toolbox

Database Entry:
Squads of Paknik can be seen marching along, searching high and low for food for their clan. They're especially fond of nectar, as it's the only food their queen can consume. Paknik will take anything and everything without a second thought, if they think it'll be beneficial to the colony. Their little leaf backpacks can hold a fair amount of food, but since they can only carry so much, they'll be forced to make several trips before the day is over.

*Paknik Evolves into Pilfant @ Lvl 19, if Male

Database Entry:
With a much bigger backpack in tow, Pilfant can carry far more food than Paknik can. Their legs are far sturdier too, allowing them the ability to traverse difficult terrain. Because they are inherently stronger and have far more space in their packs, Pilfant will travel for several days and nights in search of food, sometimes travelling the entire region ! They've also been known to steal food from trainers more often than Paknik, frustrating new trainers who just wanted to have a snack break.

025. - Hunyqueen
Category: Honeypot Ant
Type: Insect/Mental
Height: 3.6 ft
Weight: 87.9 lbs
Abilities: Queen’s Stash, Toolbox

Sprites:

Database Entry:
The leader of a colony, Hunyqueen generally don't pop up too often in the wild. They usually are in command of hundreds of Paknik and Pilfant, who they send out to search for food. Female Paknik lose the strength to carry their leaf backpacks as they age, instead growing a larger, nectar-engorged abdomen once they evolve. This nectar is potent enough to feed a single Hunyqueen for several weeks, but unfortunately, her diet becomes very restrictive once this happens. On very rare occasions, Hunyqueen will leave their nests to search for food in times of desperation, though this is risky due to their nectar being a hot commodity.

026. - Plinko
Category: Flamingo
Type: Neutral/Wind
Height: 1.0 ft
Weight: 13.4 lbs
Abilities: Bully, Wind Mastery

Database Entry:
These small, hostile birds are poor fliers, but thankfully don't really need to be good at it. Their parents actually fling these Enigmon at passerby, often beaning them in the head. Plinko will latch onto a foe and peck them until the enemy leaves their territory. Because of this odd behavior, people in the Nerida Region will occasionally utilize them as a home security system, forcing unwanted solicitors away from their residence.

028. - Gigapillar
Category: Caterpillar
Type: Insect
Height: 0.11 ft
Weight: 5.9 lbs
Abilities: Brutish, Carapace

Database Entry:
These Enigmon are actually an invasive species that has bullied the native Insect Types out of the forests. This, combined with their voracious appetites, makes for a truly devastating inhabitant. They use their size and weight to force other Enigmon out, and would have completely overrun the forests had it not been for Inspekta being introduced to cut the Gigapillar population down significantly. Gigapillar who survive this onslaught however, are considerably more problematic as they evolve.

*Gigapillar Evolves into Puposterous @ Lvl 20 after defeating 5 Insect Types

029. - Puposterous
Category: Pupae
Type: Insect
Height: 1.4 ft
Weight: 18.2 lbs
Abilities: Brutish, Carapace

Database Entry:
Thanks to their ridiculously hard shell, Puposterous are able to tank hits from Inspekta who would try to eradicate them. Though they're unable to fight back now, they're much stronger defensively. While waiting for evolution, Puposterous will remain mostly still to conserve the energy they gathered as a Gigapillar. When the time is right, they'll evolve, emerge and actively attack Inspekta, driving them from the forests.

Database Entry:
FUsing their long, sturdy legs, Flingo can actually chuck their offspring at enemies with impressive force. Though they are mediocre fliers, just like their pre-evolution, this trait isn't a hinderance. Whipping their long legs around is potent enough to create a powerful gust of wind that can knock opponents over. Rumor has it that this Enigmon's fashion sense was derived from the region's champion, but this is likely just a coincidence. Where Flingo and its' offspring actually get the strange sunglasses from is a complete mystery.

Weight: 100.2 lbs
Abilities: Brutish, Carapace

Database Entry:
The burly Baheemoth is ruthless and violent, driving other mons from the forests they inhabit. Their rival, Inspekta are simply no match for their might, and are forced to flee until the following mating season when Baheemoth's numbers are at their lowest. Any Inspekta unlucky enough to get caught by Baheemoth will end up as a meal for the next generation of Gigapillar.

Inspekta are an unusual species that have a distinct hatred of Gigapillar and it's evolutionary line. These Enigmon are highly adept at wiping out large numbers of Gigapillar that have overrun the forests of the Nerida Region. They work swiftly and mercilessly, though Inspekta won't ever fully eradicate their rivals. After mating season, swarms of them are brought in by local agencies before the Gigapillar population grows too high.

As the old saying goes, one man's trash is another man's treasure, and no mon embodies that idea better than Trickoon. These dumpster diving delinquents are always on the hunt for food, and are nocturnal by nature. Once they've found a treasure trove of trash, they'll happily nibble at it until they've had their fill. Of course, these raucous raccoon Enigmon have something weird about them, being their tails. In the dark, the markings on their tails light up, making it hard to discern which end you're looking at. Trickoon are good at faking people out, but will often peek over their shoulder just in case their clever ruse doesn't fool their opponent.

These Enigmon have one distinct difference, and it's all in their eye pattern. This isn't just for show though, as Zipizapi will have either a positive or negative charge to them, which will completely change which Enigmon they evolve into ! Positive and Negative form Zipizapi have a specific form they'll take, determined by which base form the Zipizapi is.

They cannot fly, and instead burrow through the ground using their sturdy forelegs. The thick fluff on their bodies helps create friction as they tunnel, generating electricity that they can then use to attack with.

Database Entry:
These Enigmon are truly obnoxious. Beyond their lovey-dovey shtick, they're always in the way, taking up space on walking routes and making single guys and girls jealous of what they have. From early on in their lifecycle, Paireamour are very rarely ever found alone. They immediately pair up from birth and stay with their partner for life. It's so rare to see a solo Paireamour because if one ever gets separated from their partner for longer than a few hours, or simply never finds a partner, their heart breaks and they can't function. Worse yet, they enter a depressive state until they perish from a lonely heart.

Female Mantaze are particularly vicious, resorting to cannibalism of the male members of their species, though Males will actually fight back and flee if they're unable to fully protect themselves. Database Entry:
Whispurr isn't the only cat Enigmon to grace the Nerida Region. For a less eerie Enigmon, many people prefer the company of Purradox. This kitty is hardly easy to control however, as it likes to get itself into trouble often. If you plan to own one, be aware that Purradox are curious creatures, known for pushing boundaries and getting into all kinds of mischief. It has a bit of an odd split evolution, in that depending on how its' raised, and left in the PC Box, it can evolve into one of two possible evolutions.

Database Entry:
When Purradox is left safely in a PC Box with no other Enigmon around, it will evolve into Safe'N'Meowned ! They now never leave the comfort of the cardboard box they've become attached to, only leaving it once they've scanned their surroundings thoroughly. Being a ghost now though, they're incredibly speedy, able to dip in and out of their own shadow, phase through walls, and live freely without a care. They're rambunctious and can't sit still.
